Job Openings at The National Pain Foundation
The National Pain Foundation (NPF), a 501(c)3 nonprofit, is the premier provider of information, education, and support to people with chronic pain. The organization's web site, www.NationalPainFoundation.org, provides accurate, peer reviewed information authored by some of the foremost experts in the field of pain medicine. Materials are provided for both patients and medical professionals interested in the field of chronic pain.
There are more than 75 million Americans who suffer with chronic pain each and every day. Pain is an invisible disease that knows no social, economic, ethnic, age, or geographic boundaries. It can affect virtually any part of the body. The NPF is built on the belief that proper treatment of pain conditions at any stage can positively change the direction of a person's life. The NPF aims to empower people in pain by educating them about their condition, providing information about the options available for managing their pain, teaching them to take a more active role in their treatment plan, and helping them to connect with others who also are on this journey.
We currently have the following openings on our staff:
Vice President of Development. NPF is currently embarking on an exciting new stage of growth in our service to persons with chronic pain. We are looking for an experienced development professional to lead and fund some very ambitious growth plans for NPF. The successful candidate will inherit an excellent existing development program and will develop and lead new programs to diversify and substantially expand the organization's fundraising efforts.
