Complementary Therapies

Examples of complimentary/alternative medicine include massage, acupuncture, chiropractic, herbals, yoga, and Tai Chi.  There are mixed reports regarding the effectiveness of these treatments.  Some people find benefit from them while others do not.  Use caution with herbal medications since the FDA does not regulate them, and make sure to use a licensed professional when seeking massage, acupuncture, or chiropractic care.
