Resources: Disabled, Homebound

The following list of resources may be of use if you or a loved one is unable to leave home due to illness, injury or pain. Please note that your community may offer a set of its own services for the aged and infirm that is well worth discovering. For example, most states operate Agencies on Aging to help individuals 60 years and older find resources. To locate the Area Agency on Aging nearest to you, visit its web site at http://www.n4a.org. In addition, the U.S. government maintains an Eldercare Locator web site that is incredibly useful in finding services, care and support for older persons.
